The resulting Wire Chair (1951) borrows the shell shape but reimagines the form in strands of steel. Each seat features two gauges of the material, a mixture that adds strength but keeps manufacturing costs low. This is an authentic Eames Wire Chair by Herman Miller. In good overall condition. Two chairs have tiny scratches.
