アイアンタイガーアイは和名を「鉄虎目石」といい、角閃石の一種に石英が染み込んで酸化し、茶色や黄金色に変化したものです。研磨すると光の当たり具合によってシャトヤンシー効果（キャッツアイ効果）が見られますが、その様子が虎の眼に見えることから虎目石と呼ばれています。

ジンジャーカラーのたて糸に濃いブラウンのよこ糸を織り込み、古びて落ち着きのある光沢を放つ真鍮をイメージしたカラーを作りました。
