My hypothesis was that using two plants both from that same line could result in variegated offspring

Extremely dark & velvety

These seedlings shape shift colour depending on the lighting and the angle you view them at

The leaves are quite thick & have an almost corrugated texture to them

Anthurium sp. 'Peru velvet' public Grown from seeds made byStriking green foliage that matures into a gorgeous elongate velvet leaf. Pink colouring through the sinus & winged petioles. There appears to be quite a few species & phenotypes grouped together & sold as 'sp. Peru velvet', however this one bears some resemblances to sagittatum, however this particular plant is substantially more velvet. Leaf is quite light stressed & becomes darker if grown in more appropriate lighting conditions. Grown from
