Theres slapstick, there are comical misunderstandings, and most importantly, both shows are committed to an ongoing will-they-wont-they romance between their core pairings, and as audience members, it becomes very easy to root for these awkward kids to figure it out and get together

I dont think they enforce it on the boys at all
