The click check works great and the reel's mechanical operation is very smooth

The ferrules have been double-wrapped to aid in the prevention of casting cracks

Very minor rim wear

Carpenter and Casey 2 3/4" Reel 7'1" The faceplates are in greatA nice Carpenter & Casey trout reel, 2 3 4" diameter and set up for LHW. A spool width of 15 16" and I suspect this will hold a #4 or #5 line comfortably. Silver anodized spool and foot, with a black anodized spool and faceplate. Silver pillars and crank. Un ported spool and "Carpenter & Casey, Makers" etched in the faceplate and the serial number "106" etched into the foot. There are a few tiny scratches in one part of the rim but I see nothing else
