The wire metal mesh covering the outside helps to grip the glass body of the syphon

The plate also has two holes with a string designed to hang it on the wall

before being acquired by the Thorn Lighting Group in the late 1970s

1970s Large German Fat Lava Violet Pottery Jug cabinets 1970s retro West German 'Fat1970s Large German "Fat Lava" violet, green and white decorative pottery jug or vase. The maker is not stamped underneath which isn't usually the case with Fat Lava vases. I am therefore not sure whom the manufacturer of this particular jug is. In good vintage condition. There is a small crack to the glaze close to the handle but not to the vase itself. Very well made and heavy with a white glazed interior which makes it easier to clean. Dimensions:
