R.L. Winston Bamboo Fly Rod SF-era 8'6" 2/2 3 3/4 oz. 4 Weight "S" handle arm86 2 2 R. L. Winston, San Francisco. 3 3 4 oz. Medium action for a DT4 WF5. Made in 1968. Gary Howells built the rods almost from start to finish during this period with the exception of the varnishing which was done by Doug Merrick. Tan wraps with burgundy accents at ferrules, tip tops, hook keeper. Wells grip with bakelite reel seat. Original red bag and labeled tube. The rod is very lightly fished.
