Though unmarked, this penguin brooch is likely a souvenir of Alaska. The head, feet, and wings are made from gilt silver with high karat gold nuggets applied to the body. A red stone is set in its eye, too small to get an accurate reading on the gem tester, but most likely either garnet or glass. The brooch has its original safety clasp and pin. Scroll down
