Emergency Room Doodles Black clay 25" diameterThe title of this piece is "Emergency Room Doodles". One of the photos shows the pencil on notebook paper doodles that served as a distraction during a stressful 5 hour visit to the E. R. a few weeks ago. (My husband injured his thumb but is now on the mend.) After the clay slab was smoothed and dried a bit I blended blue, white and yellow underglazes on the clay.
