The original Colorado Autumn Map was painted on a folding road map of Colorado

The muted colors and blurred images remind me of the many times I've spent on the water just after the sun goes down

Phoenix and the valley of the sun are very prominent in this painting and rest just above the mountains in the center

Bird's Nest in a Corner  - A love of birds and a lifetime of collecting nests was the inspiration for this charming little piece of nature

I try to capture a feeling of that particular state without covering up too many places
