The rod is exactly nine feet long and the fact that every section is equal length lends credibility to this rod being originally made with the Halstead ferrule (typically the Halstead ferrules were 3/8" longer than the equivalent size Super Z ferrule)

Black and gold tipping at the winding check and male ferrules (the gold is actually white thread with an application of shellac and a bit of age)

Uplocking aluminum reel seat with fixed fighting butt. Clear silks tipped red, truncated ferrules, ferrule plugs, bright ferrules and guides, hook keeper. Comes with original bag and labeled tube. The rod weighs 6 1 2 oz. and was made with size 15 64 and 21 64 ferrules.
