The rod is in excellent original condition though it does show light wear throughout

The reel seat is a slide band of butternut that's been hand flatted

Near mint condition with the only wear resulting from taking the reel in and out of the original blue and cream zippered Hardy reel case

Good used condition with some minor bits of rim rash, small mounting marks on the foot, and some tarnish to the counterbalance. The spare spool shows some very minor wear.
