Since it is impossible to achieve a deep shade in a single dye bath, artisans repeat the meticulous process of dyeing, wringing, and drying countless times. Through this patient repetition, a profound and layered hue gradually emerges. For the weft yarns, hand dyed kakishibu (persimmon tannin dye) threads are used. Compared to
