The two most famous ravens, Hugin and Munin, were Odin's loyal companions. It was believed that they would fly over Midgard, gathering information to bring back to the Allfather. The names Hugin and Munin can be roughly translated from Old Norse: Hugin means "thought" and Munin means "memory." This suggests that they had a deeper connection to Odin, acting
