Asian Diasporic Zodiac: Wood Boar Size:8″×10″ 🌳🪵2025 is the Year ofThe Wood Boar is a part of my Asian Diasporic Zodiac, in which I reimagine the Zodiac animals as if they were informed by diaspora and the landscapes of Turtle Island North America. This series is inspired by conversations with my Taiwanese mother. The wood boar is my Agong's sign. He turned 91 last month, and it felt right to honor a relative at the start of my work during this residency. To create this wood boar, I referenced the spruce trees and
