Description

These were the FIRST two we have seen in our days of collecting cast iron

DON‘T pass this one up

Going through it we saw it was in fact a BSR Red Mountain skillet that we believe was enameled by a third party vendor

it seems that the "PPS" pattern was often copied by mid 1800 American foundries because of its superior balance

it would be best on gas or electric coil

WOW! Backwards "N" Early 1900's Wapak made Oneta #9 Cast Iron Skillet! Wapak fry pan These were the FIRST twoVery cool early 1900's Oneta brand skillet. Made by Wapak as an off brand, the Oneta line is known to collectors, but also known by chef's to be a handy skillet in the kitchen. You'll love it. Sits flat so great for all cook tops The brand name derives from "Wapakoneta" Ohio. The main brand being "Wapak" and their version of an economy brand was the "Oneta". Harder to find AND having the backwards "N" which is a type flaw and very unique, it's heavier
