but instead of using colored pencils to make my hand look like a cartoonish turkey I filled in the outline with pieces of wire that I found on the lakefront near an old demolished steel mill

and naturally the title fits the nature of this design

It was springtime when I conjured this up and I thought about Chicago baseball and Wrigley Field and the ivy-covered walls

There was no theme to this random collection of junk that I found on the beach

That's the Way the World Goes 'Round Size:Small (8 x 8 in) a couple of days laterThere's a lot going on here, and I wrote extensively about it on a Facebook post, but here's the gist of it: The visual of a bunch of dinosaurs, with the larger ones viewing their perceived sense of superiority as a license to chase down and devour the smaller ones, felt to me like a universal truth, and the title of a John Prine song seemed to sum things up perfectly.
