It sports a high level of resistance to fatigue, has high ductility, and has good spring qualities useful for applications where flexibility is desired. Typically referred to as a "spring steel, it through hardens and has very good edge retention. If ductility, toughness and resilience are desired, 5160 is a solid choice. It will flash rust patina easily, care for it as you would
