wood-fired small bowl feb restock hand-drawn design of TaosWood firing is a process that involves a week or more of work! We spend 2 3 days loading the kiln, and then 4 5 firing it. The kiln has to be stoked 24 7 this whole time so our team works together on around the clock 6hr shifts to achieve this. It's a massively work intensive firing process but the results are so worth it. None of these pieces are glazed on the outside, instead the surface effects are created by the atmosphere in the kiln and the way
