19th Century Iron Door Porter with Stuart Clan Crest Needlework Dating from the late 19thA very striking 19th Century cast iron door stop in the form of a winged griffin on a shaped rectangular base. This mythical beast is very well cast and supports a brass mask head shield bearing the crest of the Stuart clan Marquis of Bute.
