This phrase has been written in my sketchbooks throughout the years and every time I see it, it just reminds me to take a step back and remember that none of this is permanent, none of the day to day bullshit matters. It reminds me to focus on the things that truly matter in life. So this painting is a sort of shrine to death, to that one thing that we will all go through when our time comes. +
