Leeward Islands SG 32 1907 cover from St Kitts to New York with 1905-08 2½d dull purple and ultramarine new-edition with vertical "SPECIMEN" H/S in1907 (AP 15) cover from St Kitts to New York, correctly franked by 1905 08 2d dull purple and ultramarine, chalk surfaced paper, tied by 'A12' duplex (Oliver type S6). Minor envelope blemishes, but a very scarce franking. [The stamp originates from Req. 109 05 (104 sheets), the entirety of which was sent to St Kitts. It's likely that a good portion of this supply was destroyed when supplies of the Universal Colour Scheme 2d bright blue were received
