Large vignette scene across bottom features two elephants with natives on their backs holding a title banner between them which greatly enhances the visual appeal

Note the top blank margin edge is trimmed narrow just barely grazing into the engraved area- readily framable none the less

No title page, book appears to be from c. 1890's. pp. 244. Period 1 2 leather binding, smooth spine, marbled covers. Joints scuffed and split, front cover loosened and held by binding cords. Contents clean, tight and sound. Book remains well preserved and very attractive on the shelf. It displays a beautiful age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or
