Engelberg Trübsee (Herbert Matter) alphabetzoo 244 Chinese charactersThere are, in a sense, two versions of this piece made to encourage skiing at Engelberg: there is the giant poster that often sells for thousands of dollars and the smaller brochure which is hardly ever seen. This is the latter, made to be discardedand apparently it was, because copies are nowhere. Designed by Herbert Matter in 1935, this 4 panel brochure is infinitely less expensive to frame than the 25 x 40 inch poster and only slightly different.
