1957 Gibson F-5 Collings Pickup configuration: SS1957 Gibson F 5 in near mint condition. All original with minimal playwear. This is definitely the cleanest 50s mandolin weve seen in the shop. The FON is a U prefix putting it at 1957 production while the label has a 1959 serial number. These were produced in extremely small numbers with only about 20 made in 1957. Larger peghead with the post war Gibson logo, 2 piece maple neck with laminate ebony stripe, and triple bound top. These are great
